I believe that today is a black day. Meaning it's a bad day. I'm not being racist, it's a term (I'm using direct translation here) in Chinese that means there's a dark/black aura around, etc. It's confusing. >.<
First of all, when I came home from school. There were police cars and sheriffs in front of the high school near my home. Since I don't go to that school, I didn't know what was going on.
Second of all, Korea. Mainly Korean music culture, K-pop, which is now a hit among teenagers like myself. ^^
Jaeboem, leader of 2PM from JYP Entertainment, was scandalized and basically kicked out of Korea today. He left for America this morning.
What happen you wonder? Well, in 2005, (from my resources), it was said that he had said, when he was a trainee in JYP, that he thought Koreans were gay and that Korea sucks, etc. And he wished he was in America. That stuff. Apparently, some antis dug it up from his myspace and now it's all over the internet and newspapers too.
The antis created petitions to kick him out of JYP and Korea. One petition was so outrageous (I'm overwhelmed) that it said to have him kill himself.
COME ON! EVERYONE makes mistakes. That doesn't mean he should go and kill himself! Those antis need a life! I'm not taking any sides here.
I'm not saying the antis are wrong (though I disapprove of the Suicide Petition), but he worked really hard to get where he is now. And because of one incident when he was young and naive and stupid, he's gone. Humiliated. Hated. Kicked out of the country.
What is this all about? Is there something as so much hate that you want someone to die? Why is that? Why can't everyone in this world just love?

Now I'm not here to give a history lesson. I simply, is trying to understand something. Many people think that when history repeats itself, it is bad. Well, I suppose it is.
Here are some examples.
1) The death of several popstars. I'm not sure who the others are, but Michael Jackson. I think another one died a few days earlier/later than him. But still, one pop star dies, someone follows. And they are all still YOUNG. Jackson's 50.
2) The train accidents. One was in New York, another in China.
3) This many of you might not know unless you're a cyber person like me. And you also write fanfics/stories or make graphics. If you do, this you might have realized. Many graphic designing sites are closing down. One after another. It's really depressing knowing that many of them were my own site's seniors. You get this sort of loving feeling from them, kind of like a mother watching over her children, y'know? Now that many of those old sites are closed and many more closing, it's like watching your own mother go away. It's sad.
So maybe it's just me being paranoid. Or maybe history IS repeating itself. Whatever it is, I truly hope that it would stop. Or give us time to adjust.
I really and truly believe that life isn't fair. I mean, when you want something, you never seem to be able to get it! >.>
For example, I've been hinting and pointing out that I had wanted a digital camera (the high techy ones - pic: Nikon D60 Digital SLR Camera http://www.slipperybrick.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/01/nikon-d60-digital-camera.jpg)
However, my dad has ignored it or known but doesn't care less. Then, just yesterday, he presented a camera similar to the ones I wanted just smaller and it was for my MOM's birthday. I was upset of course. He knew I wanted a camera. My mom already had a digital camera (the small ones) and now she gets another one. He ordered it from amazon.com and it was delivered some days ago.
Anyways, I told him that my mom already had a camera and he was like, "So?" I can't believe it! *upset* I'm still not happy. T_T
Dear Travel Journal,
I just came back from a ski trip with my younger cousin's Boy Scout troop. We stayed in a community college and basically camped out. It was cold outside, but inside was so warm...
Anyways, I went skiing for the first time. It was the BEST experience ever. From all the sports I've played, skiing was the best. Tennis, swimming, and ping-pong aren't even close. The speed and acceleration from coming down the slopes was exhilarating and thrilling. I live for speed and danger and that was exactly what I love.
I'm hooked. It is SO much fun. However one downside is the boots and skis. They are SO heavy. The skis I expected to be heavy but the boots are like made of metal. UBER heavy. I'm not used to heavy shoes because most of the shoes I wear are really light. So I had a hard time walking at first. But after I got used to it, it was okay. But when I put on my regular boots, I was like, Wow! This is light! Haha, I felt like I didn't have shoes on. ^^
So, after my two hour ski lesson, I was free to ski on my own. The ropes that haul you up the bunny slopes were really fun. Except, you have to know HOW to hold onto the ropes or else you fall and have to move to the side to let others behind you move up. Surprisingly, I got the hang of it real quick. I didn't fall once when I used the ropes. Except for that time when my grip on the rope loosened and I couldn't use two hands to hold it. I started sliding back and I didn't want to run into any possible skiers/snowboarders so I kneeled down on my knees and crawled to the left. >.<-Tess P.S. I am itching to ski again. Hopefully it'll be soon! ^_^ I am going to snag any chance I have with skiing. So if we are going to Reno and there's snow, I'm skiing. No doubt about it.

I see you every day at school. I cannot tell you, but I still like you. I watch from afar as you smile and wave at other girls, as you talk to them, I am hurting inside.
Ever since last year, you've caught my interest. At first, I figured I'll be over you by the time the school year starts again. I was close, until I found you in two of my classes. Now, I can't stop. I cannot deny my feelings for you. Too bad I cannot tell you.
